Community speaks out against possible closure of 13 Shelby County schools
People get riled up when you start talking about closing neighborhood schools. It's a process some suggest should include more than 13 schools. But that's the number currently being considered. This story is from the first ever district-wide meeting dealing with proposed closures. I expected a crowd.. But I was surprised so many showed up to speak out.
