No broken bones for deputy hit by his own patrol car
I got out of the door immediately upon getting to work after we received word that a DeSoto County deputy was injured in a crash. A photographer had already been dispatched to The MED and was able to get video of the ambulance arriving. We had no idea what the officer's condition was. Fortunately, it turned out to be non life-threatening. This came less than a week after 2 Memphis Police officers were shot during a standoff situation. Needless to say.. the hospital is a frequent live shot location for us.
